Served with 97 Sqn for a couple of weeks before transferring to 44 Sqn. Shot down on its first mission with 44 Sqn on 24th March 1942. Hit by ack-ack causing the aircraft to explode, crashing off the French coast. No crew were recovered. All are remembered on the Runnymede Memorial.
