Whilst in target area aircraft was badly hit by flak, and vibrated violently and spiralled to port. The port aileron was u/s but managed to lift the wing by trim. SOS was sent out, but by keeping the speed high was able to control the plane. Landed at high speed. There was a 1ft hole in the port wing and the aileron strut badly buckled.
