Hit by flak in Cailly area resulting in damage to wings and port inner engine, starboard tail plane and fuselage. Rear gunner wounded but crew decided to carry on. Rear gunner was losing blood fast so landed at Tangmere on return. Bomb aimer gave first aid to rear gunner after leaving target.
